Sanjuanero is produced by a cooperative in the Huila coffee growing region, after harvesting it undergoes a caffeine removal process in a coffee plant located in the coffee growing region of Colombia. This company has over 30 years of experience and only works with Colombian Arabica coffee. Their coffee decaffeination process is natural, they use ethylene acetate extracted from sugar cane which is also naturally present in fruits and vegetables, they do not use chemical solvents, after going through the process the coffee is 99.9% caffeine free
